Sayrahs Digital Labs ("Sayrahs", "we", "us", or "our") operates sayrahs.com, an inverted job marketplace where verified companies and employers discover job seekers and invite them to interview. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or using Sayrahs, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Introduction

The data controller for your personal information is [legal entity name], registered at [registered address]. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@sayrahs.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your name, email address, password, and account type (Job Seeker, Company, or Private Employer).
  • Job seeker profile: work experience, education, skills, the job titles and locations you want to be found for, your CV or résumé, profile photo, and anything else you choose to add.
  • Employer details: company name, logo, business information, team members, and verification documents — such as business registration documents, or a government-issued ID for private employers.
  • Payment information: when you buy a plan or credits, payment is processed by our providers (Paddle and Flutterwave). We receive confirmation and limited billing details, but we do not store full card or bank numbers.
  • Communications: messages you send us, support requests, screening question responses, and your responses to interview invitations.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage and device data, log data, and approximate location.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 10).

3. How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Operate the platform and manage your account.
  • Make job seeker profiles discoverable to verified employers, and enable search, shortlisting, and interview invitations.
  • Verify the identity and legitimacy of companies and private employers.
  • Process plans, credits, payments, renewals, and send renewal reminders.
  • Provide support and respond to your requests.
  • Keep the platform safe, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

  • With employers (the core of the service): if you are a job seeker on an active plan, your profile can be discovered by verified companies and private employers. Your full contact details and CV are shared when you respond to or accept an invitation, or where you otherwise consent. You can pause your visibility at any time from your settings.
  • With service providers: payment processors (Paddle, Flutterwave), hosting and file storage, email and notification services, and analytics — each bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms.
  • For verification: documents and details used to verify employers and private-employer identity.
  • For legal and safety reasons: to comply with the law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, and safety of our users and the public.
  • In a business transfer: if Sayrahs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Your rights and choices

You can access, correct, update, or delete your information, download a copy of your data, pause your profile's visibility, manage cookies, or close your account. Depending on where you live — for example under Nigeria's NDPR or the EU/UK GDPR — you may have additional rights, including objecting to or restricting certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@sayrahs.com.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, except where we must retain it to meet legal, tax, or security obligations.

7. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, private storage for sensitive files such as CVs and verification documents (shared only through time-limited, signed links), and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to protect your information.

8. International transfers

Sayrahs operates across Nigeria, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Kenya, and may process your information in these and other countries. Where data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

9. Children

Sayrahs is intended for people aged 18 and over (or the age of majority where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the platform and optional cookies to improve and measure it. You can control optional cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
